AZUA DE COMPOSTELA, Dominican Republic.- Two Haitians burned to death in a traffic accident between an Elías Piña-Santo Domingo public transport passenger bus and a truck on the Sánchez, Azua-Peravia highway, near the cement plant.

In the accident where the vehicles caught fire, four people also of Haitian nationality were injured, who were transferred by members of the National Emergency System 9-1-1, to the Taiwan Hospital in the aforementioned city.



A person who was at the scene of the accident told the authorities that the truck had collided with the vehicle in which it was being transported before the event.



Likewise, the driver of the truck was not found at the scene, which is why he allegedly fled.
