Two points: 1) Whoever did this was making a point, and it worked based upon the reactions of the bystanders. This was certainly no accident and the unwillingness of the bystanders to get involved tells us they fear retribution. I can just about guarantee you that "nobody saw anything" and can't identify the assailants. 2) When seconds count, the Gubbermint is just minutes/hours/days away, so be prepared to defend/take care of yourself because no one else gives a shit about you. This and Hurricane Sandy are great examples of this. |
