you see these shithole little countries and the same accidents happening over and over and over. even the sound of the emergency vehicles coming isn't reassuring. God help me if I'm ever stuck in the hospital in one of these countries

The reason that the truck didn't get put in reverse right away is because the tire that was on his leg was actually acting as a tourniquet as the tire was sitting right on top of his femoral artery preventing bloodflow... Rescuers  wanted to wait until an ambulance arrived before moving the tire off of his leg because once that tire was moved it was no longer acting as a tourniquet and the blood that was being held back because of that tire is suddenly gushing back into the leg which from the looks of it sent him into hypovolemic shock (shock due to sudden blood loss)... But with the ambulance there he could be rushed to the hospital and into surgery where he at the very least lost his leg... His arm did look strange moving around the way it was but he was probably more concerned with his leg... And that peeps is your first class in emergency medicine...  |

actually the guy made a complete and full recovery, he was released from hospital after 4 months and went on to become the main dancer in the stage production of Riverdance, he made millions from it went on holiday to Barbados where he met a Tongan Princess whom he fell in love with and married three weeks later, He went from stregnth to stregnth and after four years ran his first full Marathon in NY , and proceeded to run every marathon round the world annually from that date to this. He now owns a chain of successful businesses around the world and is a milti billionaire. AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER FUCKING AFTER ! or maybe not ?????????????  |
