Guy Shot Father and Daughter Before Killing Himself at Railway Bridge
India. Aftermath. A man killed a teenage girl and her father at the a railway station late Tuesday evening before he turned the gun on himself. The murder occurred between 7:30 pm and 7:45pm on the ramp bridge of platform two. The victims have been identified as Anil S. (approximately 50) and his daughter Jiya K. The suspect has been identified as Aman K, who was 24 years old. The girl was pursuing higher studies in Delhi and her father had come to the railway station to send her off. While the duo was going down the ramp towards platform 2 with their luggage, the assailant, reportedly approached them and shot both victims in the head, resulting in their immediate deaths. Following the shooting, Kumar committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. A pistol was recovered from the spot. Since no CCTV camera is covering this portion, we are trying to get footage of the shooting from other cameras installed around the railway station, the police told. |
