Brazil. A young man, 19, identified as Lian S. de J. P. was shot dead by his own friend in the middle of a public street in the early hours of Thursday.

Lian is surprised by shots from behind and falls to the ground. The perpetrator, who was a friend of the victim, fled after the attack.

Residents called the Fire Department, but Lian was already showing no vital signs. The body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), and the area was isolated for forensic examination.

On Thursday afternoon, the police confirmed that the suspect died during a confrontation with Rotam teams.

During the approach, there was an exchange of gunfire and the man was hit. Two firearms were seized from him.

According to the corporation, the suspect had several criminal records, including homicide and illegal possession of a firearm.

The investigation continues to determine details of the crime.

Well it doesnt really specify how long they were friends for. Some people call people they've met three hours ago as "old friend".

Also, how do we know this guy wasn't porking the friend's boyfriend behind his back? Just cause someone has a rap sheet doesnt mean 100% that they hadnt tried to lead a normal life until somethong triggered them.

The shooter was probably enraged when his friend spotted and picked up some roadside debris, that was better than what the shooter found yesterday. Perhaps a half-cutoff shoe, but it still had intact laces in it.

You can never really know a person. You can think you do and know traits they have but at the drop of a hat they can change their mind without a second thought. Even after being with someone for twenty plus years they flip on a dime and the person you “thought” you knew is a stranger. Humans are such a fucked up species.
