That's not screaming, after they cut his throat he would have dissociated and not felt much if anything, or more likely he was knocked unconscious as soon as the first burst of blood came out and left his brain with no fuel. It's simply the automatic survival mechanism that causes the body to desperately try to breath when in such a situation.
