Even if they do, I doubt that they're all that big on mental health awareness in those circles. Hypervigilance, irritability, insomnia, mood swings, emotional outbursts, impulsivity, and fixation on past violent events probably aren't really symptoms so much as job qualifications.

I remember that incident. Of course she got it from an anal sex scene. Sad thing about aids is that it could be eradicated since it’s not easy to spread. An illness that only spreads through direct body fluid swapping is not all that dangerous.

Clean needles and proper condom use and the illness would be a novelty like polio. It should only thrive in poor countries; by its very nature of transmission.

Yup. And the leaders of the most powerful country in the world being dumb enough to think that it only affected gay men didn't exactly help any.

The good news is that even if you don't have Magic Johnson money, it's no longer the death sentence that it used to be. We also already have medications that can block the replication of new infections if administered early enough, so I have no doubt that we'll eventually develop a cure and a vaccine.

Then we'll just have the greed of Big Pharma to contend with.
