Two Cops on a Motorcycle Found Killed by the ELN
Two policemen were killed next to a patrol car, on Friday afternoon, in Cumbal, Colombia. With honors, we bid farewell to another one of our Heroes J. G. V. M, trusting that God will have him in his holy glory, peace in his grave the mayor told. The corpses of the uniformed were lying on the street, still with their legs on the Suzuki police motorcycle leaning against a car. Intendant J. G. V. M, who would retire from the police in August, was the subcommander of the Cumbal police station. His companion, the patrolman E. A. M. B, fulfilled the duties of secretary. His brother, who also wore the uniform of the police but is now retired, remembered his loved one as a kind man, close to his family, home and did not mess with anyone. He also said that J. G. V. M. served most of the time in Bogotá and in the last two years he was in Nariño, where he was finally killed, apparently by members of the National Liberation Army (ELN). The intendant, of 38 years, leaves two children minors of age, one of them, a girl of 8. His resume includes 32 congratulations and 9 decorations for his outstanding work in the Police. The Secretary of Government of Nariño, Mario Viteri, lamented the death of the uniformed. "From the government of Nariño we deplore the vile murder of J. G. V. M. and the patrolman of the Cumbal Police," he said. According to the first inquiries, apparently, the crime could be related to what happened in recent days, said the official, who referred to the murder of four members of the Awá community and two people in the municipality of Samaniego, including a journalist. "This worries us a lot, and it seems that in some regions of Nariño peace has not yet been signed," said Viteri. It is worth mentioning that in February of this year the patrollers Álvaro Martín Marín and Juan Carlos Barreto Guzmán were assassinated under the same modality as the pistol plan, riddled by presumed members of the ELN in the municipality of El Tambo, 40 minutes from Pasto. |

Re: Two Cops on a Motorcycle Found Killed by the ELN
"trusting that God will have him in his glory hole..." I wouldn't get caught dead on a Jap bike. Q: "What do Jap motorcycles and fat women have in common?" A: "They are both fun to ride but you wouldn't want your friends to see you on one" |
