Re: Guy Gets Shot by Hitman Before a 2nd Hitman in a Car Runs Him Over
Man, this just goes to show that death can come without warning. One minute you're washing your car on a pleasant spring day, and the next you are a bullet-ridden smear in the street. I have spent lots of time over the last 54 years in mexico because I had family that lived in Durango, and living in San Diego in the eighties meant enjoying many Cuba libres in the unforgiving Tijuana sun. Had my fair share of fun, but what a shithole (Mexico, I mean). One time I was driving through the desert with my aunt and uncle, and we came upon a man lying in the middle of the road. My uncle drove around him and kept going. All of the Americans in the car started yelling at him to go back, but he said that it was common practice to pretend to be dead, and all of your very hungry buddies come out of hiding and rob you when you stop to help. You couldn't get me across the border now, Mexico was the wild west in the 70's and 80's, but it's far worse in this day and age. |
