This is just a personal observation, but it seems he lost control at the -40 second mark and was persistent about trying to regain control when he clearly couldn't since he lost half of his line. It seems like inexperience killed him when he should have just given up at that point and cut the line in order to deploy his emergency chute. He could have survived it in my opinion if he hadn't wasted so much time trying to regain control. He should have realized that since he was so close to the ground, that he should have been more cautious about giving up trying to regain control sooner. I ratchet that up to inexperience imho. |
