He didn't have a pot to piss in? And I'm gonna be a geek again,first,the fence was most likely taken to the morge with the body,first so the ME can see it,and also for police evidence. Second,the jaws of life is also known as a Porto-power,and as the Hurst tool,all of the ones I've seen had the hand pump as a back up if the power plant for the hydrolic pump failed,but I've seen and read about some units that were powered off high pressure tanks and a high power air pump run off a PTO on the apparatus engine.(fire engine) There are also so hydrolic tools that are run off the apparatus itself,like a heavy rescue,with a hydrolic oil tank and a pump either off the PTO or a skid mounted engine. |
