Honestly...what could you do if you came across someone all mashed like that and still alive? I'd like to think that being in a western country, if it were me; someone would at least talk to me and stay with me until I kicked it.

My God! Seriously, how hard was it for someone to try and sit the guy up, get a pillow, try to make him comfortable! On another note, WOW! death can be pretty mean and brutal!! I used to hear that when tramatic things happen to a person, their brain just goes into shock and they don't feel a thing. Umm, after viewing some of these, i'm wondering if that's just bull shit to make us feel better.

It is actually true, although it is not so much the brain as instict, the human mind has incredible survival insticts, adrenalin is what numbs us, the rest is up to the mind to get us to safety.

In this guys case he would have known he was going to die, but rest assured he would have felt nothing due to the incredible amounts of adrenalin
running through his veins.

Again I post this image of a wreck I was invloved in, I broke T5 burst fracture and L1 fracture, smashed my teeth out, broken cheek bone,nose massive bruising to the likes I have not even seen on here and I walked home and had a beer.

Someone should be sitting with him and holding his hand. That or put him out of his misery. What an awful way to die.

This is one of those cases where he probably can't feel much. His spine is most likely damaged, he's pumped full of chemicals from his brain reacting to the trauma and is most likely in shock. May have been slow but let's hope it was also painless. Even with those injuries the body can override the pain.

Those were my exact thoughts, but his hand was gone. They could have touched him in some way, I would have.
