I'm still trying to figure out what the spray was, honestly! Maybe it's just because the color is very desaturated that the spray doesn't look like blood. But they got hit really freakin fast, so I'd be surprised if there wasn't a shower of blood after that. It just looked like water and dust on the vid.
Could have been antifreeze from the cars radiator, hitting anything at that speed would wreck the front of a vehicle

I'd say that is the most likely culprit, I don't drive so I forgot about that part of the car.
