He was probably going to try and get his foot untangled from the seat belt and unfortunately the cop mistook this as an act of aggression. Overkill and not necessary I'd say.

I recently learned that tasers are not standard issue for police officers. So not all if them have that option. I am all for a disabling shot, but then again I am not a cop who has a possibility of being 6 feet under if I think twice on a traffic stop either.

Had history and it was known he had weapons. If he were to follow directions (Cops want to go home too) nothing would have happened but an arrest. People really don't appreciate cope but if we didn't have them assholes like the one shot would be killing you.

Alto this is pretty old and i have seen it before, this is still the only video i have seen where i actually believe the cop straight up murdered that man. And this comes from a guy who thinks Eric Garner got what he deserved!

The officer called him by name so it must have been a stakeout with standing note to the force that ernest is armed and dangerous. that officer wouldnt have been so nervous and light triggered if it wasnt. wish i know the story of that ernest.
