Re: Gotcha Sucker

Japan gun deaths in 2016 ......Total = 6

US gun deaths in 2016 ....Total = 33,000

hmmm. It will be great when some day stupid americans understand that the "anti-gun" movement is ACTUALLY about protecting innocent people, and has NOTHING to do with government tyranny. It will also be great when America takes good enough care of it's citizens so that they don't feel the need to rob store owners to feed their families.

but hey....Republicans don't care about facts, or science....they care about gunz and jesus.
There's an interesting method of propaganda here, that's worthy of pointing out. The first is the fairly recent change of lumping suicides and accidents in with criminal shootings when quoting casualties.

The fact is that criminal shootings have been steadily declining for decades.

Suicide rates, irrespective of method, are basically on par with similar western nations. You would have to believe that the US would suddenly have a much lower suicide rate than England, Canada, or France simply because a firearm wasn't an available method.

Accidents are terrible but they are an accepted risk with all sorts of arguably frivolous liberties. They certainly aren't a reason to eliminate a Constitutional liberty.

Re: Gotcha Sucker

It's not bad, but does hammer your hand with that grip and the dovetail safety
Not at all. I probably should also mention I have a Hogue rubber grip with finger grooves on it. That makes it fill my large hands better. Mine looks similar to this:

Size:	50.0 KB

You probably don't have that hand-filling issue with your Ultra Ten II because of its double-stack-magazine grip-size.

My 1911 is like a bullet remote. Very little recoil, beautiful trigger... just point and deliver rounds wherever you can see.

I quit carrying it because of its size and weight. I used to carry it in a Galco Jackass shoulder rig, but later converted that rig to carry my Kahr P9 instead. (The Kahr is so much lighter and disappears under outer layers with my big frame.)

I love my Kimber Classic Custom, but I only carry it in a drop-loop holster on a tooled western gun belt that I wear over my clothes like the movie cowboys do. I wear that whenever I'm not carrying something else but need to be armed. I also keep a magazine/flashlight holder, pepper spray, Glock field knife on that belt along with the Kimber. So when I investigate shit that goes bump in the night, I'll often strap that rig on. The fucking sheriff response time is often well over a half-hour at night, so you've gotta be prepared.

Re: Gotcha Sucker

Now factor in the enormous difference in population numbers between Japan and the U.S. and give us a per capita rate. Then, break those numbers even further down in terms of suicide, justified police shootings, accidental deaths, justified instances of legal self-defense, and so on and so forth.

Or you can just keep that reactionary partisan intellectually disingenuous bullshit you just spouted all to yourself. Either way.

Re: Gotcha Sucker

I just completed a class, written test, and shooting test for my concealed weapons permit. I suggest every American do the same. The first hand knowledge the veteran officer had left me so thankful for my right to carry a firearm to defend myself from criminals like these. If as many responsible citizens carried as the criminals do, more criminals would end up like the dumbass in this video instead of innocent, hard working people. Awesome job, gun shop owner. I'm just sorry he didn't shoot them both!!!
