Its crazy to think of the difference in this world of being a have vs a have-not. Mexicans are brutally and viciously murdering each other just to sell drugs to us Americans, who often buy it with disposable income. Chinese factory owners are beating their workers and forcing them to work 16 hour shifts with no breaks just for the chance to provide Americans with a smartphone that we use for a year and toss to the side. Laborers in Bangladesh burn to death in a busted down factory while making Americans ironic tee shirts that we wear once and toss aside, making less than 2 dollars a day. Sure feels good to be a consumer rather than the consumed. |
