Yea, apparently FOD had a lot of fake stuff in it. I didn't know this until just recently, and still haven't found any literature to back it up.

Once saw an interview with make-up artist of fod and the maker himself admitted that 40% was faked. Dunno about this one. |

The 30th Anniversary Edition of FOD has a "Fact or Fiction" section in the specials and it runs through what was real and what was fake... Can't help you though coz I don't have it - just have the series... All I know is that all the autopsy scenes are real, the monkey brains in the restaurant bit is fake, the washed up guy on the beach is real and most of the rest of it's bollocks!  |

Seen the same thing. The narrator admits most of it is fake. FOD is for people who can't handle Chris' documentation of reality.  |

Totally agree. I just hate those people who bang on about how FOD's scarred them for life. It provides light entertainment at best. I usually use it when my overly humanitarian anti-murder, anti-suicide, anti-goddamn accident friend turns up at my house and I want to get rid of her quickly... I daren't show her anything off here again... Last time I tried that I spent an hour cleaning up the vomit and that's just an inconvenience... So FOD has it's uses but DR is always gonna kick it's fake fairy ass...  |
