The bodies of 5 vendors Juazeiro who died in a traffic accident on the afternoon of Sunday, the BR-116, 3 km near the city of Currency Alegre, North of Minas Gerais, arrived in early Juazeiro yesterday morning.
Their vehicle collided with a truck full of salt, when the driver lost control of his car and invaded the opposite lane.
According to the Federal Highway Police, the accident occurred at around 3 PM on Sunday, when it rained a lot, which may have caused the collision.
At the wheel of the Fiat was Giovan Pereira dos Santos, who had no driver's license and died at the scene.
Along with it, Adriano Lima Matias, Marco Antônio Corrêa, João Paulo Pereira da Silva and Coelho Raimundo Nonato.
They had left Juazeiro for eight days and then travel to sell jewelry, clothing and paintings. The driver of the truck had no injuries.
