For all these comments about guns, it's a bit nice to know I wouldn't have to wait for him to shoot me, one of my passengers, or anyone in the vicinity before I'm allowed to defend myself when someone has a lapse in self-control and judgement. If you threaten or endanger someone else's life, you assume the consequences of your actions.

Clear self defence. Guy approaches the truck with a gun in his right hand. The fact he then swaps the gun to the left and raises his hand to point into the window is irrelevant - driver in the vehicle didn’t see that swap and in the split second he had to react he thinks the gun is there, and he’s about to get shot in the face. Justified firing first.

I've said this many times to my dumb, young, male coworkers: DO. NOT. ESCALATE. If someone does something shitty to you in traffic, give them space and do not retaliate. Do not give them the finger. Do not honk. Do not follow them. Just let. It. Go.

A sobering reminder that road rage isn't worth it, especially if you're armed. Take the L and move about your day. Odds are you'll never see that person again.
