FYI, hikers don’t climb Mt. Everest (or any mountain for that matter) wanting to die. That’s just foolish. They do it for the thrill, the sense of accomplishment, the determination. The sense of adventure. Race car drivers, skydivers, jet fighter pilots, astronauts, etc. Of course they’re aware that there’s serious risks involved. These are qualities many of you don’t have, which is easy to point your fingers & say “lol dumbasses u deserve to die.” Most people spend their lives in quiet desperation; stuck going to work, driving home, sleep, wake up & repeat. Unwilling to take risks. |
