ive always been infactuated with this....i watch every everest doc. and they say over 200 are up still up there since they started counting, then some of the elders say there are 100s more.  |

Climbers leave about 2000 lbs of shit behind them, from tents and camping equipment, to empty water bottles and empty oxygen cylinders. A lot of the climb is done over ladders and equipment left by earlier climbers. It's kind of like climbing one of those Brazilian trash heaps you see in the posts about how poverty-stricken they are, except these are all rich fucks with no concern for anything other than themselves. (But they do get to step on the faces of lesser mortals who were not able to succeed in their efforts to climb the mountain.)  |
If that's how you want to be remembered if you die on Everest, well, have at it
