Nice take down tactic
If the streets are crowded and you've got some time you can put the person you're following at ease by swapping spots too. Nobody ever thinks that someone ahead of them is actually following them.
This reminds me a little of that older Trials Of Life footage with the Monkey eater gang of Chimpanzee's. The way they box him in, and make him know that his only way out will be from where he's attacked first.
