Sounds like the baby might not be his because he was pretty specific about who he shot! Sounds like his wife was playing the field. The problem with matters of the heart, it can happen to anyone. He could have saved everyone and just started with himself first.

It seems like they knew him. He could’ve said something as he ran in because he was like touching the guy with his hand (almost like he was patting his shoulder) down to the left of the screen. They were startled by him running in for sure because they motioned for their guns but seemed to recognize him and disengaged.
