Four People Killed, None Wearing Seatbelts
A serious accident occurred at the beginning of this week has left four dead and six wounded. It happened on US-040 in the municipality of Lagoa Grande-MG (507 km from Belo Horizonte). According to information there was a head-on collision between two vehicles, a VW Golf and Fiat Uno. Three people who were on Fiat and a person who was in Golf died on the spot. Among the dead is a young woman of 25, who was six months pregnant. The bodies were taken to the Medical Legal Institute (IML) of Patos de Minas and the wounded transported to the Municipal Hospital of Paracatu in Minas Gerais. Among the wounded is a man, two women and three children aged 3-11 years. Some of the injured follow in serious condition, most were unconscious after the accident. The causes of the accident are still being investigated. |

It's interesting how other countries handle fatal accidents. I drove past an accident this morning and you would have thought the FBI was involved. The police had cars blocking the entire wreck as the FD walked up with some mechanism that looked like the jaws of life. No fatality. In this vid, dead folks everywhere, free to be gawked at.
