Four Dead, Seven Injured, After Drunken Driver Runs Over People Waiting for Bus
Venustiano Carranza, Puebla state, Mexico The driver of a car, who was traveling at excessive speed, ran over several people who were waiting for public transportation to go to their workplaces. As a result of the incident, four people lost their lives and seven more were injured. Among the deceased was a police officer, Karina d.l.P.C. (third pic). The perpetrator was a young man, Librado "N", aged around 25, who, according to preliminary reports, was intoxicated. He attempted to flee the scene, but locals subdued him, and he was arrested. Due to the strong impact, the car was destroyed from the front, after hitting the people who were at a bus stop. |
