Re: Footage from the Massive Explosion in Beirut Port, Lebanon
I wonder if the surrounding water had any mitigating effect on the explosion. I dont know if its water vapor we're seeing from that explosion or not, but regardless, I wouldnt want to be standing near that blast when it happened. The damage to the large building next to the explosion was more than I expecting... not to mention that it was heard from 50 miles away?! Sheesh.

Re: Footage from the Massive Explosion in Beirut Port, Lebanon
A bunch of video of an explosion that just happened on the port in Beirut, in Lebanon. The Lebanese media are saying it was an industrial accident involving a fireworks depot/manufacturer. Then there is a guy--a Lebanese Major General that says that they were storing confiscated high explosives there. I can't see red, but everyone says that it's bright red like a dye. Does anyone know anything about Thermobaric Weapons? Like aerosol type bombs that ignite fuel and air after a first blast spreads it. I just woke up, but I'll add more blast footage I find. Anyhow, there are plenty of reasons for a government to deny that they've been attacked, especially by a neighbour larger than it. A shithead neighbour, perhaps, backed by shits with even bigger heads. Maybe even, the country that suffered the attack is right in between the shithead and another country that all the shitheads have been attacking for years. Maybe Lebanon likes that country more than shitheads. Unrelated, Israel just attacked Lebanon in the past couple of weeks, didn't they? Something about needing to retaliate against a rocket landing in an open field. ☕️ The following are changes I have made since drinking coffee ☕️ ·I have corrected the spelling of "BIG'UNS". ·I have deleted the first batch of videos, to use them in the highlight reels I just posted. Compilations of all the best explosion footage I've found so far, and the second video is of all the best aftermath. ·I have covered all the watermarks, in the videos which were afflicted with them, with covers of issues of BIG'UNS magazine. ·And lastly, I realized that the member "someonenice" is a gaylord, and that he very obviously gets dicks all tangled up in his face hair. The views of the shockwaves from below, and the one where you see it race after a boat, are especially good. |

Re: Footage from the Massive Explosion in Beirut Port, Lebanon
I guess about 1 kiloton equivalent, similar to the Pepcon factory explosion in the USA desert. The red smoke is probably from ammonia nitrate, used for fertilizer and explosives. All the little flashes before might be small military munitions or fireworks cooking off, then a whole building or barge of munitions or fertilizer detonated. There have been whole boats full of ammonia nitrate or military explosives that have detonated by fire or accident. One was in the 1940's in Texas, another one was somewhere in Canada, both destroyed a big area near the ports and killed 1000 people or thereabouts IIRC.

Re: Footage from the Massive Explosion in Beirut Port, Lebanon
Thought this was interesting food for thought. Also hearing reports of it being heard 150miles away...
