Five Students Killed when Their Car Slams into the Back of a Lorry
In a tragic road accident, five students were killed and one student critically injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed a lorry on the night of Thursday. Police said that the deceased were studying engineering, B.Tech second year at Vignan engineering college. Four of the deceased students embraced Swamy Ayyappa deeksha ( Swamy Ayyappa Deeksha is a rigorous 41-day spiritual vow (vratham) observed by devotees, particularly for the Sabarimala pilgrimage, involving strict discipline like vegetarianism, celibacy, simple black clothes, barefoot walking, and abstaining from intoxicants to purify the body and mind, fostering humility and devotion to Lord Ayyappa.) and another student embraced Govinda deeksha ( Govinda Deeksha (or Mala Deeksha) is a rigorous Hindu spiritual observance, similar to Ayyappa/Bhavani Deeksha, dedicated to Lord Venkateswara (Govinda), involving vows, strict discipline, wearing a sacred thread (mala), chanting, and simple living, often culminating in a pilgrimage (Padayatra) to Tirumala for spiritual purification and salvation, with devotees practicing it for various durations like 21, 49 days, etc.) When they were going to Vithamrajupalle village of Vinukonda mandal to participate in devotional programme bhajana, their car rammed a container truck at rear end while overtaking another lorry. Four of the students were killed on the spot while another died while being shifted to hospital. The deceased were identified as M. Ramireddy (20), M. Srikanth (20), S. Mahesh B. (20), Vangavolu V.(21) and Yashwanth S. (20). The injured student was identified as Maddukuri K. He was admitted to a private hospital where his condition is said to be critical. The impact of the collision was so severe that the ill-fated car turned to be an iron mangle and the police took one hour to extricate the bodies of the car. The car was going at high speed when the mishap took place, police said. |

The car went completely under that truck. I bet safety standards don’t even exist. I don’t see any airbags amongst the mess and that tractor is secured with rope.  |

Well apparently someone was failing his engineering class. Anyone who thinks they can play limbo with an 18 wheeler and win is definitely dumber than a box of curry powder  Poor kids were killed by the class dunce  |
