Five inmates died in a road accident in Uganda involving a truck transporting prisoners and a saloon car at a highway.

Several others, including two prison warders, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Hospital.

The accident involved a Toyota Wish and a truck transporting 54 prisoners and 12 prison staff. The Toyota wish had a tire burst and lost control before ramming into the prison truck. The Prison truck overturned after its driver lost control.

Guess they got their Wish, an accident where they had a chance to escape. I wonder if it was an intentional planned crash that was a bit more severe than the Wish driver planned.

Here is the Banana Splits intro song. You're not gonna believe this, but the Jewish tune meister that wrote the Banana Splits song is the guy who wrote Pretty Flamingo recorded by Manfred Mann in 1966. Jack Bruce played bass on Pretty Flamingo just before he joined Cream, and credited Manfred Mann with teaching him to write hit songs. Maybe he didn't know Pretty Flamingo was not written by Manfred.
