Fisherman Flung Overboard when Installing Crab Traps
A fisherman was flung from the fishing vessel Leopard into the open sea. The tragedy took place on March 23, at about 4 pm, when the ship was in the waters of the Tatar Strait. In preparation for the installation of crab traps, the man was dragged overboard. To date, the whereabouts of the sailor have not been established. The Investigative bodies of the Far Eastern Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case under the article for violation of labor protection requirements, resulting in the death of a person by negligence. |
