Thanks man. I think both the motorcyclist and car driver are at fault here. The motorcyclist was apparently going 97mph at the time of collision, way over the speed limit. But the car driver clearly wasn't paying attention either.

They're both at fault indeed: the car driver admitted he didn't see the bike at all, and anyway he shouldn't have attempted the manoeuvre since he didn't know what was coming from the opposite direction. But if the biker wasn't speeding that much, probably now he would be still alive.

Shitty. But both are at fault here. You cant expect to hit anything at almost 100mph and survive... so slow the fuck down on the road on a motorcycle. And the car should have paid better attention.
