Honestly, wtf is wrong with most of you people? No, he shouldn't have squeezed past, resulting in him falling, but once he was in the water, his death was COMPLETELY avoidable if they took the correct procedures and weren't backward fucking mongs about it. 1. There was no cooperation among the staff (no forming of a chain and effort to get to the man) 2. He was about arms length from being able to grab someones hand. 3. They literally flushed him to the bottom when they turned on the propellers. 4. A proper real safe attempt for all concerned at rescue would have been to tie the rope around someones waste and get, say, SIX of the dozen twats standing there watching to hold onto the other end, and pull both to safety. Nobody needed to drown here. They will get payed out and they do deserve to be. |

i could have saved the cunt on my own, would have if I were there, and without any fear of drowning. All the tools for rescue were there and more.

They were fast and did the right thing but I would of got in and grabbed him right after the boat moved away.

The guy couldn't hang on. I can't see what else they could've done. They responded pretty fast considering the dire nature of it.

The ships thrusters pushed him off the rope and under what is probably a stilted or floating pontoon harbour. The very act of trying to stop him getting crushed by the boat against the harbour wall is what killed him.... they did what they could in what was a very panicky situation but as someone pointed out he was in a rush and trying to squeeze past the woman in front....

those dumbasses made it worste off by taking the stern line off and turning on that forward bow thruster.. The force of the turbulence blasted that man off the mooring line... Poor seamanship and tragedy ends  |

If I was there I would have jumped in. All you have to do is know how to fucking swim. Of course the thrusters didn't help.
