Re: Female Motorist Killed During Car Hijack in South Africa
First of all, everybody should lock their car doors before driving. Locking doors keeps people from grabbing you out of your car. Second, put the pedal to the metal and drive the fuck away fast. |

Re: Female Motorist Killed During Car Hijack in South Africa
Thats what I'm talkin' 'bout! I love to see it on my old BMW e36. Great car, I left it at my office in San Jose, Kalifornia, and some hood rats tried to steal it but couldn't cause the battery is in the trunk and I disconnected it. So they broke all the windows. It had about four inches of water in it when I came back, I drained it and drove it back to Chicago averaging 85 mph. Then I lent it to my dad and he totaled it in an accident when a young woman ran a red light. I got more than it was worth at that point, being waterlogged and all, but it was a great driving car... |

Nobody’s asked this yet, so I’ll do it. Who car jacks a Kia Rio? I couldn’t fit one of my shoes in that thing, and yet 4 gunmen thought it was the perfect getaway car. |

Re: Female Motorist Killed During Car Hijack in South Africa
Maybe they needed a Kia Rio water pump. They just wait for one to come down the road and grab the whole car. By definition, street corner SA black criminals aren't the brightest bulbs. Also, tastes differ. Some people relish jazz music and coffee beans picked out of animal shit. Back in the 1990's, it was very common to see blacks around Chicago driving Hyundai Excels pimped out with gold trim and rims. Maybe it was a local thing, I just searched Google and Bing images and didn't find one Excel pimpmobile with gold trim. They were around before the internet exploded, maybe no one thought to take pics for posterity. Maybe it was a local thing in Chicago, I dunno.

Re: Female Motorist Killed During Car Hijack in South Africa
@gimlet I just remember a time back in my hometown in TX, where a local radio station held a contest to give a brand new Kia Rio away. The car was inside a local mall. The catch was, the contestants (5, if my memory serves correctly) who were chosen by a random draw, had to pile into that small little egg on wheels, and live in that thing until there was only one contestants left. They were ONLY allowed out for short restroom breaks and 1 break a day to clean or refresh themselves from the mall’s restroom sinks. All breaks were at a designated time, and everyone had to go at those times or hold it till the next break time rolled around. But there they were in the mall for everyone to see. They even had a webcam on the car so you could look in on them whenever you’d like. What I remember though, was when all but one contestant was left a proclaimed the winner (I believe they lasted over a week), the inside of that car was so worn out and smelly that the winner had to have it professionally cleaned, and then wound up selling it for what little money they could get out of it. I just think about the misery they had to go through, and that when it was all over, no one really wanted the car anymore. |
