I've ridden in SEA for a while. pretty calm scene here honestly. The "oncoming in the right lane" bikes typically only do that for a block or less and at low speeds while hugging the shoulder. very common in SEA and not really a problem. Death came here due to the timing of the white car backing up while overtaking on the right side. not a great overtake side choice to pair with bad luck -> death ouch. She was a nice lil baddie too |

Seems her body just moved a few seconds after her death then it was over, agonal movements I believe.

On the contrary, the driver of the car did nothing wrong. He/she backed up slowly and stopped once aware of the approaching cyclist. It was impossible for the driver to see the cyclist at first, and backing up was the only way to get out of the parking spot.
