In America they have to when backing up. I believe 10 decibels louder than the loudest average for the area. Something like that, just means loud as hell. I forget who made that, probably OSHA. Trucks do as well, believe FMCSA made that regulation. So many regulatory bodies in my line of work, most of them say the same thing though so it’s not too bad. Even that, working with them all the time you zone it out. Personally I hear the electric forklift motor better than the beeping from forklifts. Hate the sound of the wining motor. That and I am not blind, I do not trust the operator or the equipment. |
