Female Dancer Died After Being Shot at Wedding Ceremony

India, A female dancer died after being shot at by someone in the audience while she was performing on stage. A. S., 21, a professional dancer, was shot at when she was performing on an orchestra stage at a wedding ceremony at Viratpur village under Sonbarsa police station in Saharsa district on Wednesday night.

The bullet hit her on the head. She was rushed to a private hospital at Sonbarsa, but she succumbed to her injuries on Thursday morning.

A probe is on to ascertain how the firing started and who fired the shot that caused the woman dancer’s death, police said.

Sources said most of the men enjoying the song-and-dance programme were in an inebriated condition and that some of them started celebratory firing from their rifles in the middle of the programme.

Bullet went thru the smartphone a guy was holding up, you can see it disintegrate into many pieces the same instant the dancers head is hit. What are the chances? I guess there is a good chance someone was sick of having their view blocked by a smartphone or just sick of people that video everything and they didn't consider where the bullet would end up.

Who hasn't wanted to shoot a smartphone like that?

What it looked like to me was it's the same guy, he held up a stack of money with his left hand then with a pistol in his right hand she shot through the bills into the dancer.
