So, one of the videos linked there is Joe Cocker doing "A Little Help from My Friends" at Woodstock. I love that footage because his guitarist fucking slays it with those falsetto backing vocals.

Cocker claimed that he had no idea that he moved on stage the way he did until he watched Belushi's impersonation. He said that he'd never watched footage of himself performing, and that he was very confused upon first viewing Belushi's act because his friends had raved about it, but it seemed to him that Belushi was just being silly and ridiculous. I have no idea if he was telling the truth, but if so, that's pretty great. |

Haha! That's right. Goes to show that music can really git hold of ya! I think I actually seen that the night it was aired. I was only about 8 at the time but I always watched snl no matter what if I was close to a TV! Broke my heart when Belushi died. His brothers ok but imo no one could fill those shoes.
