Female Bike Passenger Falls from Bike Gets Run Over by a Bus
In a second tragic accident in little over a month, the banned paver-blocks on the arterial Agra Road in Kalyan claimed the life of a 40-year-old school attendant who was riding pillion on a friend's bike during heavy rain on Saturday evening. As the bike slipped on hitting one the gaping gaps between the paver blocks and Manisha Bhoir, an attendant at KC Gandhi school in Kalyan, fell on her right side and came under a private bus coming from behind. Police said the accident happened around 4.30 pm when Manisha was on her way back home from school. As it was raining, a friend on bike offered her lift. The accident happened within 100 metres as the bike hit paver blocks. On June 2, eight-year- old Aarav Atrale died in a similar accident at the same spot while travelling on his father's bike. |

I have lived in parts of Southeast Asia for quite some time. This is very common. They never learn their lesson either. It has gotten to a point that I pass by a bus or truck or one passes me, and I think, "Gee, I wonder how many bodies this truck has?" Complete idiots. I mean, I would think after so many fucking deaths this way they would be extra careful around busses and trucks.

AND let’s not forget that umbrella! Nothing like fighting to hang onto an umbrella as you’re riding a scooter, with the wind pulling the umbrella, and you, off balance!!! LOL Jesus Christ Almighty please help us all!  |
