But I wonder did they really steal the cologne? I often leave one or more of my favorite bottles of cologne (CREED) in the center console on the weekend so I can understand the anger if one or more should come up missing. Still I would never put my kid in danger like that over material.

Don't such parking areas always have signs saying they are not responsible for stolen property from the peoples vehicles? Something like that. Anyway, would it have been so hard to just go talk to the management? They might have reimbursed the ticket of parking. Maybe even given them a pass for the next time they need to use that parking lot. If there was video surveillance, they could have asked management to review the footage just to see if anyone else approached the customers car. So many things they could and should done. Now they get to pay for a funeral, court costs, prision time, lawyer fees, etc.  This is why I don't do all that fighting. You come off as cool, collected, respectful but stand firm on what you think you were wronged with. They want your business, so they will offer solutions to you to be able to resolve your complaint and still have you as a customer. |

And its just cologne. I wear CK, it's $80something. If it goes missing (for some reason I leave it out in the open), it's still $80. Not dying over $80. Talk to the manager like I said!

Did the son get stabbed in the video or afterwards? That must've been one lucky shot to get a good shiv on the kid while he's wailing on you. All I can say is good riddance. They should have just walked away when they saw the machete, or called the police. The kid tried to be a bad-ass and he payed the price with his life. |
