The description states the suspect was beaten by the victim's group and *THEN* the suspect bought a knife to go back and confront the group. So, yes, in that situation, he will very likely be found guilty. There are cameras all over major city areas in Korea, so I'm sure they know what happened pretty well by now. He won't die though like he would in China, but he will get a long bid.
