Man Killed His Girlfriend in a Hotel, Tries to Escape with Body in Suitcase
A 23-year-old man allegedly killed his 22-year-old girlfriend in a hotel in India late on Thursday evening and was caught while trying to escape with her body in a suitcase. Hotel staff said that while the man had carried the suitcase with ease while checking in at the hotel earlier, he was lugging it while leaving. As his wobbly walk raised suspicion, hotel staff checked the suitcase and found the body of the woman who had accompanied the man hours earlier to his room stuffed in it. The man has been identified as G. H. A. He runs a cosmetic shop near his house. The woman, his girlfriend, was identified as R. A,. The woman, the daughter of a labourer, was a first-generation learner and the first from her family to have completed graduation. “We had high hopes for her. She was the eldest of four siblings. She had finished her BCom and was looking for a job,” said her uncle. The girl’s family said they were in deep shock as the accused happens to be a relative. They said they never imagined he would commit such a crime. On a complaint by the girl’s father, an FIR has been lodged against the man on charges of murder (section 302 of IPC). He confessed he had been in a relationship with the girl for some time but her family had refused to let her marry him. He said he wanted to ‘teach her a lesson’.” |

This is strange. Do hotel staff there just have the right to search you whenever they want? I mean sure it was good they did in this instance, but what the fuck kind of invasion of privacy is that in general?

Imagine being the poor sonofabitch who thought this dude was so sus, you felt compelled to stop him and search his bag... and that's what you discover.

Re: Man Killed His Girlfriend in a Hotel, Tries to Escape with Body in Suitcase
Can't even tell you how often this has happened to ME! Then I started buying suitcases with wheels on them. Also, I whistle cheerfully as I wheel myself out of there. Then I signal for a cab, throw the suitcase in the trunk, hand the guy $10, and then tell him "Oh, I forgot something. Be right back!" and wander away quietly. |
