CCTV footage of a fatal knife attack in North Gyeongsang Province, Korea has spread online, and speculation about the identity of the suspect and victim is pouring out.

On July 7th, a Judge of the Daegu District Court announced that an arrest warrant had been issued for A (21), who was charged with murder. This was because there was a risk of escaping and destroying evidence.

Earlier, on July 4th, A. was arrested by the police on charges of causing death (murder) by swinging a knife at a person who he had an argument with. The Police Station applied for an arrest warrant for A. on the 7th.

A. had a fight with a group of university students at a bar and outside.

B. (23), was drinking alcohol at a bar with a few others, and A. and B. were accusing each other of “looking at each other badly.” So a fight started and continued outside the bar.

A. was beaten by B's group and afterwards, A. bought a weapon from a nearby convenience store and wielded it at B. injuring his neck. He fell and died, bleeding profusely. At the time of his arrest by the police, it is known that A. was in a state of intoxication to such an extent that an investigation was impossible at that moment.
