Most people that use wingsuits like to get as close as possible to the barriers/edges of cliffs/spectators as an adrenalin rush for both them and the spectators. He obviously misjudged it and hence crashed into the barrier.

Hi Kelly.

The guys name is Dwain Weston, a base jumper who got into wingsuit flying. He was jumping with Jeb Corliss and impacted the bridge severing at least one of his legs. he was killed instantly. He said something strange to Jeb in the plane just before jumping, footage of which can be found on you tube on a skydiving doc.

Yeah, I posted that version a while back Condor. He told Jeb to remember whatever happened , just happened. Not to worry about it.

Jeb said that struck him as very strange, and why would he even say something like that ? He was going over the bridge, and Jeb was going under the bridge. Dwaine wanted to clear the bridge by just a few feet, but instead hit it and was killed instantly.

It severed his leg above the knee, and his arm below his shoulder. They were never able to recover every part of him. I image at that speed, the impact destroyed them to the point of not being able to find them.
