I'm sorry but you really are crazy and may possibly require treatment if you think cops in the USA are bloodthirsty compared to cops in other parts of the world. At least most the cops in the USA are legit, and believe it or not they really do a good job in general with community engagement and most cops actually do at least try to peacefully restrain suspects. The cops in this video actually did try to restrain him, at least they gave him a reasonable chance to surrender.

In lots of parts of the world their cops are little better than thugs and they don't care about the law very much at all, because it protects them and not you, so fuck you.

My concern with this specific scenario is that it appears the cops could have done more to restrain the guy, but the guy did make his own decision to aggresively move towards the police with their guns on him, so this is basically a fucked up way to commit suicide for all we know. Maybe the guy didn't understand, and yea it is sad he was arrested, I wish cops would've done more, I would be angry if I was this guy's dad, but he technically forced the cops to kill him.

Thank god this happened in the USA where at least the guy was given a chance. You think the cops in brasil got time for your little mental episode that puts their lives at risk? Nah, they just shoot you and say you should not have been fucking around with a big knife where other people live.
