He deserved what he got, although:
There were way too many police cars involved with way too many shots fired.
That makes it more dangerous for civilians and fellow officers. The dashcam video makes it look like the officer was racing and jockeying for a better position in the chase.

With the piss poor aim imagine all the ricochets. I bet those storefronts had a few holes in them and possibly the occupied civilian suv/bus on the left.

The asshole on the left in the suv stays for the entire shooting and decides to pull away after and lets the suspect vehicle continue to roll instead of blocking it.

To me it looks like they made a department call of open target practice with how many shots were fired. Pretty sure he died on the shot that dropped him.

Police definitely get the job done but need some more training.
