Re: Fatal Attack of Las Cruces Police Department Officer Jonah Hernandez
You can hear that psychopath's last breath when the bystander puts the final shot in him. Make no mistake, there's a lot more where that came from, and more every day.

Re: Fatal Attack of Las Cruces Police Department Officer Jonah Hernandez
1. Why wasn't he armed from the start? 2. Why did he run away like a coward instead of fight for his life? He could've fought back instead of turning his back to his attacker. So many mistakes were made. |

Re: Fatal Attack of Las Cruces Police Department Officer Jonah Hernandez
You won’t hear this from me a lot and I say it based on this video alone, as I try to do always. Don’t know anyone’s backstories, mostly just a one time video and I base my comment on that by it self. I feel bad for this cop. He came in calm, and not like most cops who need to control control control. It just fucking sucks that he did it when the guy who he’s about to be nice to does this. The guy who stabbed him got off EXTREMELY EASY! Probably dead before the officer was. My condolences to his people. It’s reallly shitty when a seemingly nice cop gets this call and a regular dick cop gets the one that needs a cop like this but he’s on the call and someone else ends up dead because they are on a power trip or scared and can’t handle high pressure situations |

Rest in peace, Officer Hernandez. A terrifying reminder to always keep your distance (Tueller Principle better known as the 21 ft Rule) and watch the hands/waist area. It's much easier for them to run forward at you than it is for you to run backwards. |

He was too comfortable and got caught off guard. From there his body was just operating on instinct ( fight or flight).
