With no blood flow to the brain you lose consciousness. Sudden and drastic changes in blood pressure and flow to the brain will make you pass out almost immediately (think of those chokeholds, or those videos where people fly in jets and pass out during loops/dives). It’s either fake, or reactionary based on nerves, but based on what you said, it’s not unlikely that his spinal column touching something sent a signal to his brain triggering the reaction. It’s also why some of these cartels cut their heads off in ways that maximize suffering by cutting their heads off slowly, and pausing to let them bleed out. I’m getting queasy now though since I fucking hate medical blood talk, but I’ve been trying to read up on that shit so I’m not a pussy with it.  |
