Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies
According to preliminary information, the parachutist did not calculate the distance to the ground when exiting the bend and hit the ground. Oh, I know what happened! He forgot to bring his calculator. |

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies
I found this story a couple days ago. It’s about two friends that we’re base jumpers and wing suit flyers where one died immediately after a jump and the other witnessed his friend die. You don’t see the impact or aftermath of the guy who died, but you hear the details from his best friend who was powerless to do anything to rescue or aid his friend in his final moments. Given that you don’t actually see the death I didn’t think it really deserved it’s own post, so here ya go.

Nothing you do has zero risk. There is always danger, there will always be the possibility of disaster. Play it cool, nothing kills as quickly as over-confidence.

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies
I'm pretty sure that laying on my couch and doing nothing is a zero risk proposition.

Zero compassion for extreme sports enthusiasts. Another dude who thinks he is god who never did his own fucking laundry. #dudesshoulddotheirownfuckinglaundry . I blame the women--- you are the people who perpetuate the myth. |
