Re: Electricity Worker Tries to Rescue Trapped Co-worker but Gets Electrocuted
Yea, no way that was 330KV. That being said, whos at fault, the guy on the ground who distracted the rescuer, at the exact moment the electrocuted guy woke up from his shocking coma - flailing arms - "where am I" - Well you're on your way back to deaths door my friend.

Re: Electricity Worker Tries to Rescue Trapped Co-worker but Gets Electrocuted
Another thought - It could have been back feeding too - a big risk for any electrical worker. You cut the power to the primary (very high voltage lines) but someone on the circuit has a backup generator back feeding the secondary (lower voltage) lines. It's the same concept but in reverse, now the lower voltage feeds the transformer and creates a high voltage on one of the feed lines.

"Visibly dead". Now that's an interesting concept. I never heard of it in any medical course. Usually they do certain things to check if someone is dead or alive. At least all the doctor's that I know tell me so.

Fortunately for Nigerians, their oil revenue isn't wasted on such trivial things as public infrastructure.
