The Ministry of Electricity announced, on Saturday, the formation of an investigative committee to uncover the circumstances of the death of an employee during maintenance work in the rain.

The employee was identified as Q.H.A.. According to a spokesperson for the ministry, Q. was "martyred while performing his duty to carry out maintenance work and serve the citizens during bad weather and rain".

The investigative committee has just released their findings: "Before you maintain high voltage lines, turn off the power." The committee has idled the entire Iraqi Ministry of Electricity work force for 6 months, to allow committee trainers to be dispatched to train workers in this groundbreaking new concept.
