Elderly Woman Beaten to Death During Robbery of Her House
Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia

A 60-year-old woman, Dimaris I.S., was beaten to death during a robbery of her house.

CCTV footage from around the house shows three people - two women and one man - entering the victim's home. After the victim was beaten, one of the perpetrators took down the CCTV camera. The body was then dragged to the kitchen, where D.'s husband found her.

Police have confirmed they have identified the perpetrators, but they remain uncaught.

This is so messed up. The guy didn’t need to kill her it seems he just wanted to. Worst kind of human being there is. I hope they live a long miserable life in Thai prison.

After the victim was beaten, one of the perpetrators took down the CCTV camera.


The results of the medical examination stated that the victim died due to a blow to the head from a blunt object which caused brain bleeding which led to the failure of vital functions

From this incident, a number of valuables belonging to the victim were reported missing, including two gold rings, around 400 Singapore dollars, a mobile phone, and household electronic devices.

The police arrested the victim's biological child with the initials A on Wednesday night at around 23.00 WIB at a bus stop in front of a restaurant and until now, the person concerned still has witness status and is under intensive examination.

In addition, the police also secured two other people for questioning regarding the whereabouts of a woman who is suspected of being involved in this case.
